In 1997, he spent two months in residence at the Vermont Art Center in the state of Vermont, USA. During that time he produced a number of "site-specific" participatory works, drawing on environmental and climatic factors to weave his own concepts into the scenes of an "exotic" land.

在驻留期间，在驻地附近的一座小桥上，从上向下悬挂了一面镜子。桥下的河水川流向前，镜中的映像却是一束倒流的河水。
During my residency , a mirror was suspended downwards from a small bridge near the residency site. While the river beneath flowed onward, the reflection in the mirror showed a stream of water flowing backward.
