"Taking 45° as the Rationale" — A diagonal brace was added to the square wooden frame, creating four 45° angles; this angle remains unchanged when the frame floats on water. In contrast, when a square frame made of rope, which also features four 45° angles, is placed in water, its shape distorts instantly and the angles alter accordingly.
